History:
Since it was established in 1965 by M. Guy Demarle,
Demarle SA has been using new technology to develop
original non stick products for the food industry
: these include the first non-stick baguette trays,
Silpat® pastry mats and preformed Silform®
mats.
Sold to Lesaffre (first yeast producer in the
world) in 1985, Demarle SA established its head
office in the industrial area of Wavrin, nearby
Lille in 1989. Under the leadership of M. Gérard
Blin, the company’s growth was accelerated
onto the international stage, especially because
of launching the revolutionary new concept Flexipan®.
The subsidiary Demarle Inc. was established in
the United States in 1993.
Then in 1994, M. Jacquelin took ownership of
the company.
Further, key events are as follows :
1996 : Certification to ISO 9002
Creation of the subsidiary in Germany
Start of ‘At Home’ cookery sales workshops
in France
1997 : Awarded NSF (National Safety Foundation)
Certificate for food hygiene.
The turnover increasing is accelerating.
2000 : Merger with SASA Industrie, quoted on the
Second Market of the Paris Stock Exchange.

2002 : Start of ‘At Home’ cookery

2003 : Launch of Flexipat®

2004: Certification to ISO 9001 - version 2000
2005: Demarle celebrates its 40th birthday
Demarle has invested in a brand new incinerator
that applies to the new Legislation directives.
2007: Separation between the two activities of
the company: the cookery sales workshop activity
becomes Guy Demarle.
